Life as I know it

So, it's Spring. I love Spring, it always brings on feelings of wanting to do new things. This season is messing with me though with the nice sunny cool days then the rainy freezing days thrown in, but all in all, it's been nice. Like today, it's an awesome day and I want to go outside and build something, instead I'm sitting here, trying to come up with some stupid witty blog. Kidding. Now that I have FIVE kids it's getting harder to get out and do things, until, I went out and bought an awesome stroller. This thing holds up to 100 lbs so I can pile a bunch of kids and their gear on it.
Here we were, in San Fran and all three of the younger kids were cold and tired of walking. It is so nice, Morgan isn't in love with it yet but I hope to get here there. She only likes going in with her car seat, she cries when I strap her into the stroller. So, this stroller allowed us go all over this Spring break. It makes life easier with all the activities we drag them around to. It's funny when you have more kids. I remember with my first, I was sooooo excited for the day I got to take her outside, in a stroller. I even took pics of her out in our back yard sitting there, squinting her eyes because it was such a shock for her to see the sun. I think she was around three months old. Granted she was a December baby and the weather wasn't nice until she was older, but I was so excited to do it. With moving into a new house, you'd think I'd be excited to start yard work but for some reason I don't want to. The feng shui of the yard just doesn't bode well for my artistic gardening skills. I would like to just take a large stick of dynomite to it and start all over with it. It's just ugly and nasty with large weeds all over. I am also trying to get into food storage. I have six rooms in our new place so one room will be devoted to food storage/camping/backpacking/workout room. I want to put up shelves in the room but the carpet should be replaced before I do. The owners have five dogs that lived in the house and a few of them potty trained in the rooms. I can't wait though, I'll finally be able to see all that I have for our food/everyday needs supply. And, next week, I get to start back at work. I'll be doing three less hours a day so my life won't be too hectic. And I get to go to girls camp this summer as a Caper Lady, can't wait. I get to run up to the stage, chucking candy at the girls, woohoo! So, anyway, that's about it, sorry this is so boring but I can't think anymore, my brains are getting sucked out, daily. And I'm falling asleep as I type, that just tells you how exciting I think this whole blog thing is. :D Later skaters.

It's fun to be reading about you again! My mom updated me a little on what was going on a few months ago, and talk about scary!!! I'm so glad to hear things are better.

I totally laughed when I read about the Caper Lady!!!! Modesto Stake has such steep traditions at camp. And to think that one of my peers is the ever-popular-Caper-Lady!! It makes me feel old though.

Yes, isn't it crazy what pregnancy can do to our bodies? And hormones, who'd have thunk? :D Your mom is so sweet, she never seems to age. And yes, Caper Lady, I don't think I'm old enough to be that but we'll see! I still feel like I should be one of the girls!

LOL. The caper lady! Are we that old yet? I guess we are. That will be so fun!

Isn't being mobile with the kids great? Glad you found a stroller that works for you and the kids. We got a Kelty bapckpack when we lived in Virginia. I'm loving it here with all of mountains! Now that the weather is nice we're going on weekly hikes, waterfall hunting. Love it!!
