I hate dinner

I don't know about you, but I HATE DINNER. Not eating it mind you, but making it. Now that I work nights I just hate the thought of getting it ready before I leave at 4:30. What are some yummy/easy recipes that your families love? I usually have hamburger and chicken in my freezer plus other random things. Give em to me ladies, and men if you have em.

hey there is a great line from Hormel of dinners that you stick in the microwave for like 4 min! We usually get the Roast Beef Ajou (sp?) so you can make sammies out of it and dip in the drippings or I usually just use it for roast beef, add some instant mashed potatoes and gravy (which only takes 3 min or so)..that's usually my go to meal if we're in a hurry!!! or easy enough for hubby or kids to make!! I'll think of some more..crockpot meals are always a good idea, then you don't have to make it..its just done by dinner time and they can serve themselves! woohoo..i'm such a fountain of knowledge, dang!:P

Mom has a lot of really good, fast and easy recipes that Charlie really loves. Hawaiian Haystacks, Cape Girardeau Chicken and Beef Stroganoff just to name a few. Go raid her recipe book.

okay- all of my current favorites revolve around a can of costco chicken (you know the 6 pack you can buy). Real fast- real easy

1. open can, drain and pour into a bowl. Add a bunch of bbq sauce and stir. put some between two slices of bread. yumm

2. cook your favorite pasta (we use shells) drain and add a can of cream of chicken soup, cooked peas, and can of chicken. pretty quick and the kiddos will eat it.

3. here they sell a 'green giant' veggie mix with pasta, broccoli, peas, carrots and a butter garlic sauce. i follow the package, but add more frozen broccoli and when it's done I throw in a can of chicken.

i also discovered allrecipes.com and they have some good crockpot meals there. throw it in during the am and it's done in the pm.

good luck. i really don't like having to think about what to have for dinner. it's usually just something simple.
